Case Management for Employees

A Successful Return to the Workplace

When returning to work after an illness or accident, there can be a lot to deal with. There are insurance benefits and medical assessments, in addition to the support options your line manager and HR offer, and of course your own ideas on how best to reintegrate. In order for these parties to work together successfully, it’s helpful to have someone coordinate these support services. That’s why your employer or insurance company has signed you up for Case Management with Movis.

Benefits of Your Case Management

What is Case Management?

Case Management is used in complex situations when people from different specialist areas (doctors, line managers, HR, insurance companies) work together to achieve a common goal. In Case Management, we coordinate the support services offered by the various parties.

How does the Case Manager work?

In Case Management, the focus is on you. Working together with you, we establish the most favourable way for you to return to work. This is done in 3 stages:

1. Situation analysis: We discuss your current situation with you.

2. Target definition: With your express consent, we contact your medical network and employer in order to develop a common objective and plan for reintegration.

3. Implementation support: In regular discussions with you and the involved parties, we look at how the objectives have been achieved and whether rescribed measures are still appropriate. If necessary, prescribed adjustments are made in consultation with the involved parties.

How can Case Management support me?

The purpose of Case Management is to take pressure off you, so you can concentrate fully on yourself. Our support services are:

  • Coordination between various parties
(doctors, line managers, HR, insurance companies, etc.)
  • Planning and supervision of reintegration
  • Planning of adaptations to the workplace
  • Support in negotiations/correspondence with insurance companies
  • Support in planning of medical and therapeutic measures (rehabilitation)
How long does Case Management last?

The duration of Case Management is determined in consultation with the employer.

Who pays for Case Management?

Case Management is commissioned and financed by your employer, by the accident or daily benefit insurance provider, or by other insurance providers.
